Ascension Rope Clamp (P-B17)
This high-performance device is designed for ascending fixed single ropes from 8 to 13 mm.
User-friendly handled rope clamp/grab, it is ergonomically designed handle for maximum grip for the hand and to keep the handle aligned with the direction of pull. Machined in aluminum alloy for minimum weight, the elastomeric protective sleeve improves grip and thermal insulation.
It features a toothed cam (chrome steel) for optimal hold and smooth slidingup the rope. The self-cleaning slot in the cam allows obstructive material (e.g., mud, ice) coating the rope to escape.
It also features an ergonomic notched spring-loaded nylon catch which allows the cam to be held in the open position and can be installed or removed from the rope with one hand.
Two lower holes allow you to attach a footloop or lanyard.
Two upper holes allow a carabiner to be clipped around the rope.
Available in both right-handed (blue) and left-handed (yellow) versions.
