Fall Protection Leader's Guide

This leader's guide supports the training of employees who are exposed to fall hazards and includes an animated PowerPoint presentation on CD. The curriculum is designed to meet OSHA regulations 29 CFR 1926 Subpart M.

The primary objective of this course is to teach students how to comply with the provisions of their location's fall protection program. Essential elements of this program include:

1) Identifying fall hazards, including hazards posed by falling objects.

2) Establishing the methods through which the hazards will be controlled.

3) Developing a rescue procedure.

4) Training the employees to use the fall protection equipment and comply with the location's work policies and rescue procedures.

This course is not intended to train qualified or competent persons.
