Elk River No Pac Lanyard (Elk River)
This is a two-part shock-absorbing lanyard that eliminates the traditional shock absorber pack.
The shock-absorbing material is covered with a full-strength outer sheath that acts as a backup lanyard. An impact indicator is included to alert the user if the unit has been subjected to a fall. (If so, it should be taken out of service immediately.)
Please be aware that the NoPac dissipates the energy of the impact through elongation up to 42 inches. This factor must be considered when choosing a NoPac shock-absorbing lanyard. It is the responsibility of the wearer to make sure that only compatible connectors are used throughout the Fall Arrest system. By their very nature, NoPacs are designed for Fall Arrest only.
